When it comes to kitchens, I have a pretty standard kitchen. Although it is somewhat small it serves its purpose well. As you enter the kitchen you will see a new refrigerator, which will contain a variety of meats, cheeses, condiments, beverages, and a lot of other foods. In the freezer is mostly ice, frozen food, and liquor. There is a counter next to the refrigerator which runs along the edge of two walls of the kitchen. In the counter is a sink full of dirty dishes on one side and clean dishes drying on the other. Above the sink are lights that can illuminate the whole room, as well as most of the adjacent living room. Above and below the counter are cabinets and drawers. Inside these you will find dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies and various foods and cooking supplies. On the counter are a coffee maker, a french press, a toaster oven, and a microwave. The stove and oven in my kitchen are operated by gas. The stove is used often to prepare various dishes, usually by my roommates, while the oven is generally unused because no one bakes. On one wall is a decent sized window that provides a view of a nook next to my house and the wall of my neighbor's house. Near the window, on an adjacent wall, is a door that leads to the backyard. This is about everything in my kitchen. |
